His medical background spans family medicine, Indigenous health, addiction medicine, psychiatry and general practice, alongside postgraduate study in nutritional and environmental medicine.
For more than fifteen years, his clinical work and research have focused on the biological changes of pregnancy, postpartum recovery and the maternal brain.
Dr Oscar is the author of The Postnatal Depletion Cure, co-founder of the MotherCare Project and creator of Matriatrics: The Science of Motherhood.
